ABC’s an American reality television show, Shaq Vs. was competed its first season last year and ABC declared that the Shaq vs. will come back as a second season in February. The Shaq vs. season 2 episode 1 will premiere on ABC at 9p.m. ET August 3rd, 2010. The second season will also base on sporting matches. The series will expected to feature comedic non-sports contests including a spelling bee, dance battle, or magic act.

Shaq Vs. is produced by Dick Clark Productions and Media Rights Capital. American basketball player, 7 footer Shaquille O’Neal of the Cleveland Cavaliers stars the series. Orly Adelson, Will Staeger and Barry Adelman of dick clark productions, Shaquille O’Neal, Scott Messick Perry Rogers and Steve Nash are executive producers.
Shaq will face off against Las Vegas magic duo Penn & Teller by performing classic stage magic acts. He has also fought a boxing match against Shane Mosley and faced off against Joey Chestnut in a hot dog eating contest with racing against Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
The Shaq Vs is following the basketball star Shaquille O’Neal as struggling against other top athletes in other sports. In the first season of the series, he took on quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, first baseman Albert Pujols, fighter Oscar de la Hoya, swimmer Michael Phelps, and volleyball champions Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh. He lost in all five episodes, though O’Neal was given a handicap advantage.
O’Neal said in a press release for the show, “I’m out to prove that I can compete beyond athletics. I’ve spent all year sharpening my skills and I want to win. There’s no challenge bigger than me.”
The second season will involve race against NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and a golf game with fellow basketballer Charles Barkley, Shaq will also participate in a spelling bee against Scripps National Champion Kavya Shivashankar; have a New York City cook-off against celebrity chef Rachael Ray; out-sing teen crooner Justin Bieber in Orlando; outwit illusionists Penn & Teller; and throw down against former Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Champion Joey Chestnut.
