“Nikita” is an American television drama which is telecasted on CW Television Network and based on the film/television franchise. “Nikita” series is about an assassin for a top-secret government organization who goes rogue, and the new assassin is trained to replace her. Meanwhile, Division trains its next crop of young killers. “Nikita” will be premiered on September 9, 2010, Thursdays at 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Central.

Nikita series is from Warner Bros. and executive producers of this series are Craig Silverstein (“Bones,” “K-Ville”), Danny Cannon (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Chuck”), McG (“Supernatural,” “Chuck,” “The O.C.,” “Charlie’s Angels”), and Peter Johnson (“Supernatural,” “Chuck”). The series stars Maggie Q as Nikita, Lyndsy Fonseca as Alex, Shane West as Michael, Aaron Stanford as Birkhoff, Ashton Holmes as Thom, Tiffany Hines as Jaden, with Melinda Clarke as Amanda and Xander Berkeley as Percy. In this series ‘Nikita’, a secret U.S. agency, Division rescued Nikita from death row when she was a deeply troubled teenager. They told her she was being given a second chance to start a new life and serve her country. Division usually chooses young people with a troubled background, often in prison and on death row.

Maggie Q as Nikita: Maggie Q plays lead role in the series as ‘Nikita’. Maggie Q continues to display her range through projects that have immense international appeal. In the series ‘Nikita’, Maggie Q will perform her own stunts. A secret U.S. agency, Division saved Nikita from death row when she was a deeply troubled teenager. In the new series, “a new Nikita has being trained to replace the original one after she goes rogue.” Maggie has continuously captivated audiences worldwide by showing her versatility in graceful and seductive roles. She had worked with some of the world’s most established actors, including Hugh Jackman in the feature “Deception,” Bruce Willis (“Live Free or Die Hard”) and Tom Cruise (“Mission Impossible III”).

Lyndsy Fonseca as Alex: Lyndsy Fonseca plays a role of a new recruit at Division. She is a former street kid arrested after a robbery.

Shane West as Michael: Shane West plays a role of Division operative who trained Nikita. West says, “Michael’s not inherently a bad guy, at all. He’s doing some things that I think he started off believing in, and now he’s a little unsure.” He has been charged with training new recruits and bringing back Nikita, for whom he has lingering feelings.
