“Blue Bloods” is an upcoming TV series of CBS, written and executive produced by Mitchell Burgess. The series revolves around a family of cops in New York metro area. CBS Blue Bloods starring Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes and Len Cariou and expected to be airs in this fall on Fridays at 10:00pm ET/PT. It will be begin on September 24, 2010 on CBS.

CBS has picked up the series “Reagan’s Law” and renamed it “Blue Bloods”. The new drama Blue Bloods is about a family of cops, who have one thing in similar “they’ll stop at nothing to see justice served” in the New York City. The Blue Bloods casting Tom Selleck as Chief Frank Reagan, Bridget Moynahan as Erin Reagan-Boyle, Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, Steve Arbuckle as Oliver Peele, Will Estes as Jamie Reagan, Marlene Lawston as Nicky, Len Cariou as Henry Reagan, Kim Roberts as Judge Sylvia Waters,Dylan Moore as Sydney Davenport, and Alexandria Suarez as Teresa.
On Blue Bloods, Tom Selleck plays as “Frank Reagan” the Chief of New York cops heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. Frank treats his department as diplomatically as his family even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief.
While Wahlberg plays as Danny Reagan, his eldest son. He is a seasoned detective, family man, and Iraqi War vet who occasionally employ questionable tactics to solve cases. Frank and Danny both are a source of pride and concern for Frank’s unapologetic father Henry, who previously served as Chief of Police.
Erin, character played by Bridget Moynahan, is the only woman in the Reagan family. She is a N.Y. Assistant D.A. she is a newly single parent who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father. The youngest son of Reagan is Jamie,Will Estes joins Blue Bloods as Jamie, a new out of Harvard Law. He is a “golden boy” of the Reagan family, who finds himself in a sticky situation when asked to become a “part of a clandestine police investigation even his father knows nothing about, and one that could impact the family’s legacy.”
Jamie decided to quit a lucrative future in law and is now a newly joined cop, his career change actually supported by his beautiful girlfriend, Sydney Davenport, a first-year lawyer.

I have enjoyed the show and even record it when I am not at home to watch. It shows a realistic view of what a family goes through. As a cousin to 3 city cops I can feel the emotions coming through the TV screen. Love it!

Wednesday night but I think it is a rerun. I have enjoyed the show a great deal…I am a Tom Sellect fan from his Magnum PI days. I agree, I wish he had bigger scenes! I looked forward to Friday night’s just to see this series. How can someone complain to CBS?

The show is great!! I’m just a little disappointed because they did not cast an actor as Tom Selleck’s son who is as tall as him or even taller.. I’m just glad that Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes do look like real siblings.. by the way, why was the first granddaughter replaced?
