FX’s New Show “Lights Out” – Casts & Preview

FX’s new boxing drama “Lights Out” is scheduled to debut on Tuesday, January 11 at 10pm EST. FX’s “Lights Out” TV show stars Holt McCallany as Patrick “Lights Out” Leary, who is a retired boxer with pugilistic dementia eyeing a return to support his family. The new show is produced by Fox Television Studios and FX Productions while Clark Johnson directed the pilot episode of it. “Lights Out” is from Executive Producer/Showrunner Warren Leight and Creator/Executive Producer Justin Zackham whereas Phillip Noyce and Ross Fineman are Executive Producers.

Locke & Key TV show pilot revealed by FOX

The supernatural thriller “Locke & Key” TV show pilot will be shot in the Pittsburgh area, which will be telecasted on Fox as a summer series. “Locke & Key” is made by taking inspiration from the comic book. Horror novelist, Stephen King’s son, Joe Hill created the comic. Pilot for “Locke & Key” is being shot by Mark Romanek, who is the director of One Hour Photo and Never Let Me Go.

Steven Spielberg and the Star Trek/Transformers writing partners Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci are producing the pilot. Gordon Ramsay’s MasterChef – Season 2 starting soon

Gordon Ramsay hosted and co-produced MasterChef (a 2010 American competitive cooking game show), and now it has been renewed for a Season 2.

Mike Darnell announced that a second season of Gordon Ramsay’s newest series, Masterchef has been ordered by Fox. Fox has picked up a second season of “MasterChef,” the standout reality show of the summer. Among adults 18-49, the reality show is the No. 1 new program of the summer. On 15 September, the first season finale of the show will air. The lingering four home cooks go head-to-head and combat it out to become America’s first-ever MASTERCHEF. The victor will earn the title of America’s Best Home Cook and win $250,000 and a cookbook-publishing deal.

MasterChef is an American competitive cooking game show. Produced by Reveille Productions and hosted and co-produced by Gordon Ramsay. Mike Darnell, Fox’s president of alternative programming, in a statement said, “Gordon Ramsay is an incredible talent and the biggest culinary star on television today, so we’re very happy to have Gordon and Masterchef back for another season on Fox.” He added “Masterchef has resonated with viewers this summer, and we look forward to seeing where Gordon takes the show in Season Two.” Continue Reading »

“The Good Guys” is an American action comedy-drama series about an old-school cop and a modern-day detective. The Good Guys TV show has been telecasted on Fox. Formerly it was known as “Code 58″ or “The Five Eight”. Stars like Bradley Whitford, Colin Hanks, Jenny Wade, Diana Maria Riva and RonReaco Lee have played leading character roles in this series. There are total nine episodes in The Good Guys show, eight were telecasted and one is remaining.

In the TV show “The Good Guys,” Once upon the 1970s, Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford) and his partner, Frank Savage, were big-shot Dallas detectives. After saving the Governor’s son, they were extolled as American heroes. After Thirty years, Dan Stark is a washed-up detective who spends most of his time in drunk or re-hashing his magnificence days. A stranger to modern police work who would much rather trust his old-school police behaviors, Dan has the reputation as being a bit of a wild card on FOX’s “The Good Guys.” Jack Bailey is an ambitious by-the-book detective whose attitude has made him few friends on the police force. His habit of undermining himself has earned him a dead-end position in the department, and he is stuck solving annoying petty theft cases that nobody else wants.

Dan only helper is Assistant District Attorney Liz Traynor (Jenny Wade) is an assistant district attorney and former girlfriend of Jack whom Jack hasn’t quite gotten over and the one person he turns to for help with his current professional predicament. He is stuck waiting the day when he can turn everything around, get back to solving actual cases and return to being a real detective until Jack finds his way out of this situation. The way of Dan reminds the excitement of the case and Frank busted punks back in the good old days, and he convinces Jack to go along for the ride. Many departmental rules are again broken in the reckless pursuit, showing their boss, Lieutenant Ana Ruiz, that Jack and Dan will be spending many more days in the Property Crimes Division, assigned to investigate seemingly minor crimes in order to keep them out of major trouble.
