The CW offers a chance to appear in a Smallville February 4 episode, “Beacon” by entering into a super contest known as Believe in Heroes.
The “believe in heroes” challenge is launched by “Smallville” to offer an opportunity for appearing in an upcoming episode “Beacon” of the 10th and final season on Friday, 4 February 2011 at 8:00–9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. For getting the chance to appear in the episode, viewers need to work up something creative, grab a camera, and submit their video at CWTV.com from Friday, 10 December 2010 at 11 a.m., to Monday, 20 December 2010 at 11 a.m.
Selected viewers will appear as citizens of Metropolis, who help Clark Kent (series star Tom Welling) during a discouraging time in the episode “Beacon”. Clark was assured by his friends that he can make a difference in his crime-fighting role like The Blur, and to verify their point, Clark watched a series of online video clips of ordinary citizens of Metropolis that express him what The Blur means to them, what it means to be a hero and what it means to have heroes and suppose in them.
After watching that, he got inspiration to generate support for indispensable heroes like The Blur. Producer will select the best viewers from their submitted videos to make them part of Clark’s viewing montage. So viewers need to record a video, speaking in character as a hopeful Metropolis citizen. Tell the Blur means and talk about why they believe in these super heroes and submit it to CWTV.com. But, viewers have to ensure that they do it before 20 December 2010 at 11 a.m. In the episode, only some videos will appear but for fans to view, more videos will be published online at CWTV.com.
