10th season of Smallville will be started in 2010; CW Network has formally confirmed it on 4 March 2010, and said that this new Smallville season 10 will be a significant season. If Smallville airs 20 or more episodes in its tenth season, the Guinness World Record will be beaten by Smallville for longest successive running US Sci-Fi TV show, which is currently held by Stargate SG-1.
“Smallville” got the creative resurrection during its ninth season and on Friday nights, in a conventionally difficult time-slot the series got unforeseen victory.

The CW has converted “Smallville” for a tenth season; it should come as no surprise. “Smallville” has received an early pickup for the fall 2010 season, joining other returning CW series, including “Supernatural” and “The Vampire Diaries”, According to The Hollywood Reporter. With the regeneration, to telecast on network TV, “Smallville” will carry on its run as one of the longest comic book inspired series. The series will telecast its 200th episode early in the next season”.
While it is sensible to suppose that Tom Welling has signed on to come into view as Clark Kent in another season, it’s presently unknown if Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman and Callum Blue will also return to the series. Alfred Gough & Miles Millar have developed “Smallville” for television. “Smallville” is based on the DC Comics characters. Executive producers are Kelly Souders & Brian Peterson along with James Marshall, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink and Warner Bros produced the series.

Clark must don his name superman and his costume & dual Identity in season 10, this is an overdue must, I thought the black trench coat sucks and is horrible, after all he is known as the red blue blur, come on with the suit for which superman is known for!
i think they should keep doing what they are doing with smallville its kinda like an alternate universe so its kinda cool i mean they do it with the x-men all the time. Just keep Chloe alive.
I am an avid fan of smallville since season 1,me and my friends really miss Lana Lang. What if Lana returns as a trap for superman for Zod’s benefit. Wooooooeee…that must be heart breaking..super exciting!!…but in the end, Lana will return to what she knows is good for her and Clark…or…as Zod’s..love interest…What do you think ha?
what happened to the show!! Its bananna curves up a steep mountain as far a the plot goes. When is Smallville going to stop going off tangent stories and get to the point. Character building and story building should take up all the time in Season 9….maybe season 1-3 but come on!! And what is with the soap opera drama and 1 min action scenes. I feel like im going to need to watch an episode of 90210 to prepare myself for Smallville. I know its always had its softer moments for the teenager girl viewers but really….Season 10 better have Clark flying and in some blue and red clothes. Or else its true what everyone says that the show went major soap opera when Lex left.
Isn’t it about time that they got on to the Superman suit, flying and glasses, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for it, when the producers aren;t so far up themselves and they come down to earth we may get some Superman.
They have to do the supersuit in Season 10. It makes no sense at all for Clark Kent to defeat all of his greatest enemies before he becomes Superman. Clark won’t learn to fly until he fully embraces his destiny, and based on the way things are shaking out in Smallville, I don’t think he can do that without Lois’ help.
Great for season 10 as for fan made videos on youtube can hardly be called factual or true I only hope on this site it sticks with the gospel truths imho. Season 10 has not been written yet and we dont know will be in or out next season, just have to wait and see

anyone who thinks lana has to come back is crazy, she should have been gone after season 4 maybe season 5. she stayed in the show way to long. i do think the show has suffered allot in these last seasons tho. i do think the costume works pretty well i would rather not see tom welling in tights or tight leather. as far as clark not flying i think we all agree when in say WTF! come on guys its time for him to learn to fly already. and finally the season 9 finale. i loved the fight between clack and zod with blue kryptonite knife, its good to see clark can still kick ass when he has no powers, man that right cross was such a good hit

To everyone, from what I have heard and seen as of so far is that the “Superman” suit will not be worn but used to tease and hint on what the future holds. I liked the black trench coat idea. This is used to show the close connection to his from the first Superman movie. It was also a way to show what will be later. I understand what they are doing here. They doing there own thing with the Superman image. So it is Smallville and not Superman. I have been a huge fan of the show, since the first moment it came out. Not many people can take an idea from comics and run with it but the people who have made Smallville, done an awesome job. I do everything I can to not mess an episode. I just wish the people who made the X-Men and Spider-Man movies could do the same. Smallville is smart, brings everyone in the comics into the show but little at a time. There is a few other shows that I also like but Smallville is on the top of that list. No doubt in my mind on that one.

please Smallville is a parody not the real thing, in the comic book Clarks costume (glases, suit)is the worst I love Superman but this isnt superman its smallville a different story to the adventure. After Lana left I thought it got better Lois is hotter and way better she is not crying every five seconds. Clark cant become superman now it would ruin the entire thing. chloe is not going anywhere (agian parody) she dies you loose the last of clark, already lost his mom basicly she is definatley not heself.
Tom Welling can play Superman for 4 more years if a Superman uniform is worn, wears glasses, fly’s, and Lex comes back!!! We must change the format to Metropoliss and ask Tom Welling “please do season 11 and 12″ Tom are you out there? Don’t leave after season 10 if you care about your fans!

I’ve been a fan since the beginning. For the most part I’ve enjoyed every episode. I do think the show has a lot of potential for more seasons if Clark becomes Superman in Season 10 (flying and all). You’ve certainly got the material to work with. I hope you bring back the Legion and Kara. Also Clark was introduced to Bruce Wayne before he became Superman. For him to meet Batman would diffently be a great episode. Keep up the great work.

Clarck does have his suit, I forget which episode but it was his mom who gave it to him. You didn’t actually see the suit but you saw it’s reflection in clarks eyes. As for the glasses he already has them but is not using them.

Well the whole flying thing i wouldnt be amazed if after 1 season of him flying the show ends. i mean what is left after he learns how to fly. He leaves lois because he has to much responsibility so no romantic climax. just stopping random criminals until lex comesback and i wouldnt be amazed if right clark realizes lex is back the show has its series finale… Maybe a movie for tom welling. i think he was a prettty good fit instead of the guy from superman returns.
I love Smallville. with that said, there are many things i don’t like about this series. Clark is a baby in this show. He needs to man up and be the Superman we are all waiting for. Season Nine should have been called the making of the justice league. there were so many unnecessary characters in this season. With that being said i would also like to say that season nine was the best so far. CK has embarrassed more of the Kryptonian side and is sporting a sweet suit. HE needs to FLY for sure soon and needs to fight more. I am sick of the fight scenes like Doomsday. Also killing off Lex makes no sense nor does him knowing CK’s secret. that was very poor on the writers part. I fear for season ten, i will still watch it religiously but there are things i would definatly like to see. 1) Fly. 2) his enemies come back for more, like Bizzaro, Doomsday, and Lex. and 3) More CK kicking ass and being SUPERMAN!
Look the writers have written in twists and have deviated from the original story some, but that’s ok. We all know you cannot change the story of Superman. Clark will be Superman as it is in the films. Tom Welling is the next best fit for Superman after Christopher Reeve. The Superman returns was just a flop although I loved Kevin Spacey as Lex I just didn’t like where the directors made him go with the character. I would love to see Smallville develop into maybe a spin off series called the Justice League or the Hall Of Justice. I would love to see that story come to tv. They already have the pieces to do that. So why not I mean 10 seasons of Smallville building to this would be a great way to spin it off and look you are already basically advertising for it. Michael Rosenbaum is by far one of the best Lex Luthor’s I have ever seen. He played the character to the tee. I really hate to see this show end. I at least hope they have one or more spin offs where Tom Welling and possibly Michael Rosenbaum will appear as their said characters. I love this show and now my son who was not even born when this show began loves it to. Please don’t stop after this season.

since the beginning. It’s intense it’s smart and it’s got the edge that it needs to reintroduce the Superman legacy to a new generation. I do feel that Clarks red and blue suite and his ability to fly are denfiately overdue. (I think there are many fans who agree) I know that the Doomsday story arc was already visited a couple seasons ago but I think Supermans battle with Doomsday, his appearent death and following resurrection would have made a fantastic last few episodes and series finale. Supermans return from the grave would have ended the series on just the right highnote. However the producers do decide to end Smallville, I’m sure it’ll be something I’ll really enjoy. It’s been a fun 10 years and whatever Superman movies or tv shows follow after this, will have a lot to measure up to.
I love smallville since the beginning of the show especially hot lana “kristen kreuk” lang. Tom Welling and Kristen Kreuk are perfect “chemistry” couple made in heaven. Unfortunately they have to follow superman stories were Superman/Clark ended up with Lois Lane. I just wished that Erica Durance/Lois Lane didn’t change her hair color, blonde. She’s hotter being blonde . Definitely no comparison between her and Lana Lang folks. So give it up..But if you asked me Superman should ended up with Lana Lang at the end of the final season.. Why? Because it is very obvious that Clark Kent’s first love and forever love is Lana Lang. The only reason why Clark Kent went out with Lois is because Lana Lang left him and if only the producers and writers concern it was really obvious they want Lana to be with Clark forever, check season 8…..
smallville is one of the best series i have ever seen in my entire life.And that the season10 is out can’t wait to see it.Hope Ck and lois got married and become the hero everyone wants him to be.I was sad when i heard is going to be last season,was hoping of more so the we can see the likes of batman and makin a league like the justice league.well since is the last season i know he will start to fly.
