Jersey Shore finale has just been aired and now there is good news for Jersey Shore fans as MTV has already ordered a new season of the show even though Italian American groups repeatedly called for MTV’s Jersey Shore to be cancelled. Finally Jersey Shore is coming back with season 2. Vinny Guadagnino, cast member let slip that there will be a season 2. Vinny Guadagnino said to the New York Daily News that for another installment of the MTV reality series, he and the rest of the Season 1 crew are perhaps going back to the Seaside Heights next summer.
Earlier this month it was rumored that the gang will move to Sea Isle City after filming the first season in nearby Seaside Heights, though, the mayor of Sea Isle City has released a statement to clear up that no filming is taken there.
Leonard C. Desiderio said in the press release issued on Thursday, January 21, “To date, there has been no contact made to City officials regarding this possibility,” “We have not been contacted about the show ‘Jersey Shore’ filming in Sea Isle. This is an unsubstantiated rumor and in fact, we understand the show is returning to Seaside Heights for the next season. My staff and I are in communication with MTV to clear up this matter and ensure the media is provided with accurate information.”
Vinny told a group of women at the Youth in Revolt after-party at La Pomme that “They want us to do another season.” Meanwhile, the Jersey Shore cast members have been enjoying their new-found fame. DJ Pauly D and Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino cost $7,500 per night and Vinny gets $3,500 whereas Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi is not particular about what clubs she goes to. For a double appearance Ronnie Margo and Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola often get $3,000. There no word on how much Jwoww commands.
