Dancing With the Stars season 12 premiere date confirmed


Great news for the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ fans as ABC announced that new DWTS Season 12 will air on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. (EST) with an exciting two-hour season premiere. In addition, the first result show of this season will kick off on next week (on March 29 at 9:00-10:01 p. m., ET)

Tom Bergeron (America’s Funniest Home Videos) and Brooke Burke (Dancing with the Stars Season Seven Champion) will probably return as presenters while dancing experts Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba, are most expected to return on the show as judges.

The upcoming 12th season’s cast will be announced live during the finale of ‘The Bachelor’ on Feb. 28. In the lineup, Vince Neil, Mischa Barton, and previous Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson are allegedly eyeing spots until now and professional dancer and three-time ‘Dancing With the Stars’ champ Derek Hough will take off in this season to film his first movie, Cobu 3D but is anticipated to return for Season 13.

Conrad Green said in a statement to OnTheRedCarpet.com, “We wish Derek the best as he takes time off from Dancing with the Stars to pursue his film career and look forward to having him return to the show in the fall”.

Dancing with the Stars is a reality show airing on ABC in the US, and CTV in Canada, in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines. The show is the American version of the international smash hit series, Strictly Come Dancing. Conrad Green is the executive producer while Ashley Edens-Shaffer and Joe Sungkur are co-executive producers.
