America’s Got Talent Season 4 Episode 11 story

In the Last Episode, the audition round was completed with performances from 8 year old singer Ciana Pelekai and the Beale Street Flippers. In this Episode the judges will be selecting top 40 from the 160+ acts.

First Judges divided 160 contestants in 4 groups. And one by one the judges was shown every groups performance. After the judgment, the first group is going to the next round but unfortunately the Second group has been cut. The other two outstanding groups will both go to the next round. In total 25 acts were sent home out of 160 acts.

In the singers group, Keith Johnson and Pete Peterkin step forward first because they are good singers. In a dancers group, Arcadian Broad was the first to enter the theater to hear from the judges. Then some other participate follow this group and got next chance.

After then 74 year old Anthony Ferrante who is retired barber, danced lack of a better word. He was sent home. Next judges saw three another dance group. They gave their best performance. At that time judges were very confused which group to send home. After wards they have come up with plan and they will be given 12 hours to prepare a routine to the same track of music. Not all of them will be going through when they return.

After 2 magicians, Drew Thomas and Joseph Constantine gave their performance but at the end, Joseph has been eliminated, but Drew will be advancing. The last two acts are singers: Lawrence Beaman and chicken catcher Kevin Skinner. Lawrence Beaman makes it through to the next round. Unsurprisingly, Kevin Skinner was eliminated.

Kevin Skinner was “NOT” eliminated from what I seen on TV last night. I know that some were sent home after landing, which I felt was extremly wrong. Some had better talent than some that were kept.

    Thank you

I would just like to point out that Kevin Skinner was NOT eliminated…he advanced to the next round…

  3. On July 29, 2009 Terrie says:

does anyone happen to know which acts were in that mass elimination? I saw a few, but not all and nobody even named them after schlepping them all the way to Vegas and not even allowing them out of the hangar. Why bring them all the way out there for that? A phone call would have been just as professional…perhaps more so…

I think it really sucked that you sent home little Ciana Pelekai and the little 9 yo guitarist. You have lost alot of viewers witgh this dicision!!

  5. On August 01, 2009 ADELINA M. GAPAC says:

IF YOU ARE JUDGING BASED ON TALENT- WHY WAS TALLAN NOBLE LATZ AND CIANA PELEKAI SENT HOME? THIS IS WRONG- TALENT IF IT IS SHOWN AT THIS EARKY AGE MUST BE NURTURED- NOT DISCOURAGED- AGE SHOULD NOT BE AN EXCUSE TO DISQUALIFY THESE TWO YOUNG PROMISING INDIVIDUALS- GET THEM BACK ON THE CONTEST AND LET THEM PROVE THEMSELVES- THIS IS A TALENT SHOW- THEN , PLEASE, CONTINUE TO BE A TALENT SHOW- AND DO NOT DISCOURGAE GIFTED INDIVIDUALS- !!!!

  6. On August 03, 2009 Scott says:

I will be no longer watching nor recomending this show to anyone with an IQ. To cut the guitarist boy and the Seattle Woman and keep the disco guy and old lady was shameless, scandaless, and a pathetic admission its not about who can win the million dollars, but who you can “sell”. Thankfully we only invested 8 hours into your show and were wowed and amazed as we saw The Talent. Sharon Osborne said “i got goosebumps” but apparently this talented womans Birth defect was greater than her amazing singing voice. You should all be ashamed and I will never watch this show again. I further will be posting everywhere available to tell others that your show has nothing to do with talent. It has to do with ratings and greed. How to you look at yourselves in the mirror..

  7. On August 05, 2009 Mika says:

I really don’t understand how Ciana Pelekai has not been selected!!!!

  8. On August 07, 2009 Donna Bissinger says:

I cannot believe Tallon Noble Latz and Ciana Pelekai did not get through!!! It is outragious some of the acts that actually made it. Ugh! Many of them are boring and even awful to watch. These three judges have not a clue what they are doing. I usually watch the show on the internet so I can skip the acts that are a waste of my time. I was also very angry when Piers had the nerve and ignorance to tell Ardadian Broad not to play the piano. At least Keven Skinner went through. I am still in shock about Tallon Noble Latz. Did you know he has performed with Jackson Brown’s Band on stage.

  9. On November 23, 2009 Christie White says:

I must have missed the show that let Tallon Noble Latz go- huge mistake. What were the judges thinking letting a natural talent go like that. Seemed as if his mentors were playing thru him. Where is he now- how do we follow him?
