just a note for katlyne…I really relate to your situation re: the mum thing..I do not and have not spoken to my my in years & my kids will not miss her like , as I do not. life is short so fill your life with the good things & the good people and never feel bad for providing the good things …because life is short & love the people who give you love :O)

i got pregnant at 16 n had my little girl when i was 17 my daughter is now 14months old and parenthood is the biggest challenge i could have taken on at such a young age, dont get me wrong i love my baby more than anything but the people that think babys are like dolls and its easy need a reality check bcus they are not. when they are newborn they are much easier than when they are older as soon as they start walking u constantly have to watch them cus they do not sit still. my daughter is up from 7 in the morning and sometimes doesnt go to bed until midnight. before i got pregnant i had wanted a baby for ages so yes my daughter was planned but since having my daughter me and her dad have split up twice and our relationship is not as good as it may seem i dont want to blame this on my baby but if we didnt have her i dont think there would be as many fights, cus we dont get any time to ourselves. having a baby is the greatest achievment for a girl but there is no point ruining your childhood by having them at such a young age you need to have fun and enjoy ur teenage years. some gurls think that if they have a baby they can get a flat n live happily ever after but in realtity its not like that. me n my boyfriend do have our own house but houses cost money and once we have paid our bills there is little money left over for much else. just to let you know i do not regret having my baby she is the best thing that has ever happend to me but im just telling other girls thinking of having 1 that its REALLY REALLY hard work.

That right there shows how STUPID you are and unprepared for the work and responsibility it takes to be a “good” mom. You just read girls describe how hard it is to be a teen mom and you can still make the smart ass remark “i think it’s cute to have a baby at 16″. When you hear it’s not the thing to do, coming from people who have been through it THAN DON’T DO IT!! Esp. not on purpose!! What is wrong with you?? Is welfar, dirty diapers, and no sleep, money, or friends appealing to you? Well then again to be stupid enough to think any of this is cute, I’m sure your the type that will pon your kid off on a parent or not have it that long do to the miss treatment that is produced from so many “kid” having kids… No one thinks your cute, the tax payers don’t want to dish out $ to care for your child, and if the unborn baby had a say so, it would not want a 13yr old kid for mother. Save your self the regret…Seriously, It sucks

Oh my god i cant believe some of the idiotic comments on here.
first of all who the hell would want to get pregnant as a teen geez im 14 and i can hardly handle my little brother let alone a child of my own.
and secondly the program does not glamorize teen pregnancy it shows that if you are not to careful all your hopes for a bright future have gone. You dont all of a sudden pop a baby out and everything goes on as it is.
People seriously!!!!!!!

Hello girls well i want to get prgnet i been tying for near 2 years and my bf is 28 i am 18 and we are getting merried and we want a kid i love watching the show 16 and pregnet fore some reason it inspires me even more it seems hars and all but i kno that i have my parents and his parents both of our familys want a granddaughter and a grandson … i want to meet some of the girls that are on hte show … idk what to do i want some advise cause i dont have anybody i can tlk to except for my mom and my bf my cuzins are too conceded and the other half just live too far soo if i can get a hold of anybody of the girls or whatever reply to my message thanx
