Worst Case Scenario is an original six-part series of Discovery Channel and based on the bestselling series of books with the same name. Survival expert and Bear Grylls, host of man vs. Wild, portrays potentially life-threatening circumstances to show how to survive in a worst case scenario, on the show. To exhibit scenarios, Grylls pushes his physical boundaries as part stuntman, and part urban survivalist in the show. Due to these activities, viewers could find themselves in and furnish them with potentially life-saving information.

Grylls demonstrates the right knowledge and skills to viewers to help them to get succeed in urban survival situations, in every episodes. Worst Case Scenario features various situations that have been produced to model those in the book series. Escaping from a frozen lake and surviving a multi-story elevator plunge or a fall down a flight of stairs are included in the other dire situations of the series. Ways to escape a burning vehicle and after a boating accident, how to rescue potential drowning victims will be showed by Grylls to viewers in the premiere episode on 5 May 2010.
