The Story of this series about four Japanese school’s girls Yui, Mugi, Ritsu, and Mio, who are join their school’s music club. Yui is first year students in high school, Ritsu and her friend Mio Akiyama are trying to save the school’s light music club from being abolished. They are become a member of the club but they have no knowledge to playing musical instruments or reading sheet music. However, the other club members think their new addition is actually a guitar player. The other club member helps her to purchase a guitar and last they gave a fantastic performance at the school festival.
The K-ON series main characters have surnames derived from members of the Japanese bands P-Model and The Pillows. The Manga ofK-On was the highest selling manga volume in Japan in 2009 and this series DVD volume sold around 8,000 copies on first week. The Blu-rac Disc also sold more than 33,000 copies in the same week. K-On! Series was received a Best TV Animation Award at the 2010 ‘Tokyo International Anime Fair’.

but the opening of S2 are not good as S1 opening, but whatever the Opening or Ending, I love K-on!!!!!
@alex: …..for the most part (like episode 5-13 of 14…maybe even 15) the episodes were really lame…..now that k-on!! is finally reaching an end (T_T WHYYYY?????), its finally getting back to the quality of S1

My mistake… It’s now 27 episodes. *SPOILER*… Ep27 is about them planning on going oversea before taking college entry exam.
