Two pictures from “The Walking Dead” season 2 are shared by AMC and available on the web. These pictures offer a stacking helping of decaying flesh and clue for “The Walking Dead” season 2. These pictures show the zombies and one image captures a close up appearance of a creepy female zombie. At present, the show is in under production in Atlanta. Walking Dead Season 2 is the apocalypse-themed series and contains 13 episodes. Walking Dead Season 2 will be released in October 2011.

Walking Dead Season 2 comes with three characters, such as Hersel, the owner of Hershel’s Farm, Maggie Hershel’s daughter, and Otis, a middle-aged ranch foreman. Walking Dead Season 2 is based on Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard’s series of graphic novels of the same name. Frank Darabont, executive producer and showrunner for the second season, Robert Kirkman and Glen Mazzara developed it for television.

Recently, “The Walking Dead” was nominated for the inaugural Critics’ Choice Television Award. “The Walking Dead” is competing against the likes of “Mad Men”, “Boardwalk Empire”, “Dexter” and “Fringe” for the coveted Best Drama Series title. As per executive producer/writer/director of ‘The Walking Dead’, Frank Darabont, he wants to reunite with the astonishing cast, crew, and fantastic directors because he is in Georgia and facing the traffic. He also wants to do shooting again.
