Supernatural is an American drama/horror television series of the CW television network. This series was first started on September 13, 2005 and five seasons have been completed by this series on CW network. Now the creator of this show, Eric Kripke has decided to release the sixth season of the Supernatural show. For the sixth season of the Supernatural tv show, the main storylines will involve the usual battery of supernatural creatures in the early seasons and (spoiler alert) battling Satan and trying to thwart the Apocalypse in season five which is currently wrapping up. Season 6 of the supernatural series will take this show in new and as-yet-unreported directions.
Due to increased ratings from the fourth and fifth seasons, creator of this series has planned for returning of the show with next season. The first season of the series was started by starring of Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, brothers who hunt demons and other figures of the paranormal. Both Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have six year contracts, so they will return for sixth season. The sixth season will guide towards the format of the early seasons, with “lots of meat-and-potatoes closed-ended episodes, and a season-long story arc to weave in”.

Fans of the supernatural show who want more Sam and Dean Action, there is great news for them that the show will be renewed for its season 6. However, the cast of the show is not currently decoded. The show’s resident angel has a contract up to the end of season 5, but presently his future with Supernatural is in doubt. There is no doubt that the last song of the fifth season of Supernatural titled as “Swan” meet the expectations of the fans, as series creator Eric Kripke penning the script for the showdown ethereal.
In the last episode of season 5, Sam has a flippant comment to Dean and asked him if he remembered how easily enjoy the days brothers used to hunt Wendigo. It was guessed that season 6 of the series will return to the roots of Main. The boys may be back to the monster-of-the-week type of case and stop worrying about the battle between heaven and hell with the general mythology of apocalypse to end.
Recently, executive producer Sera Gamble spoke to TV Guide and said that the next season deals with life after the Apocalypse. She said, ““We will have lots of meat-and-potatoes closed-ended episodes, and we also have a season-long story arc to weave in”.
The season 6 of supernatural show will start in September, 2010 and it will have almost 22 episodes for this series. The Supernatural Season 6 Episode list has not updated yet to stay tune for more updates.

Just finished watching season & and it was freaking AWESOME!! Supernatural writers have done a fantastic job keeping the theme up through every single season and they havent gone off tangent like a lot of long term series seem to do… love love love Sam and Dean, can’t wait for the 6th season!!!
