Gossip Girl, an American teen drama series’ last episode of Season 3 “Last Tango, Then Paris” has been completed and the CW already declared in the month of February that it will renew for a season 4, starting in fall 2010. Gossip Girl Season 4 Spoilers & trailer details are specified below. The CW stated that the first two episodes of season 4 will be filmed and set in Paris. Blair, Serena, and Chuck Bass are three main characters in the show. Gossip girl will find a glowing Serena van der Woodsen (Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Meester) enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris. When a friend from home mysteriously appears on the scene, Serena and Blair will be in for a few big OMG surprises.
In this season 4, Serena splits up with Nate and connects with Dan. Jenny left and moves in with her mother with no intention to come again. So, Jenny will not be seen for few episodes in the starting of this season. Vanessa will also not be seen for some episodes of season 4, but then Vanessa will come back.

Blair Waldorf: 
Blair Waldorf plays role as Leighton Meester in this show. She is hopeless romantic who adores Audrey Hepburn. She is friend of Serena van der Woodsen. Blair gets whatever she wants by using her charm, money, and social clout. In this show, she has a turbulent relationship with Nate Archibald. She loses her virginity to his friend Chuck Bass.
Dan Humphrey: 
As Penn Badgley, Dan Humphrey plays role. He is the son of Rufus Humphrey and Jenny Humphrey is his younger sister. His mother ran off with a European aristocrat. When she hears of his sexual confusion, she comes back to support Dan. Dan and his family live on the liberal cultured and artistic Upper West Side. He joins the Riverside Preparatory School for Boys, where wealthy playboy Chuck Bass joints the West Side as a scholarship student. He registers to Evergreen State College in Washington at the end of the series.
Jenny Humphrey: 
Role of Taylor Momsen is played by Jenny Humphrey in this show. Jenny has some confusion about her place in this world. She wants to be like her school friend, Manhattan bred constance girls, but she can not seem to play the part. To be one of the ‘it’ girls, she has done everything possible in Season 1 and 2 and did good enough to be crowned queen bee of her senior year. She must prove her worth now and ensure that chaos and a coup does not happen.
Lily van der Woodsen: 
Lily van der Woodsen acts as Kelly Rutherford. She is mother of Serena Van Der Woodsen. In the late 80s, she was a groupie and connected with Rufus Humphry (father of Dan Humphry). Then she left him and married with father of Serena and Eric. In the series, she engages and marries Bart Bass inspite of she and Rufus agree that they are in love before the wedding.
Nate Archibald:
Nate Archibald plays role as Chace Crawford in Gossip Girl. He is closest friend of Chuck Bass. Nate has relationship with an older married woman, Duchess Catherine Mason Beaton. The relationship turns into an arrangement of sex for money when his accounts become frozen. Then his frozen accounts result in momentarily moving in with the Humphreys. After that he pursues a relationship with Vanessa then eventually breaks up and he goes on a trip to Europe for the summer.
Rufus Humphrey: 
Role of Matthew Settle is played by Rufus Humphrey. He is former rock star and also an owner of a fledging art gallery. He enrolled his children at private day schools for giving quality education. He got a divorce from his wife Alison because she has affair with other man. In the last episode of season 2 Lily and Rufus became engaged and married in the fifth episode of season 3.
Chuck Bass: 
In this show, Chuck Bass plays role as Ed Westwick. He is one of the main characters who serve as the show’s anti-hero. The television series character is noted for his financial ambition and personal style. He is the best friend of Nate Archibald. He is stepbrother of Serena van der Woodsen, and on/off again boyfriend of Blair Waldorf.

Sorry but the names and roles are mixed up. Blake Lively plays the role of Seserna van de Woodsen. This means that in real life the actress’ name is Blake Lively. In the show she is Serena Van de Woodsen. Picture for Serena and Blair are mixed up. Blair is brunette and Serena is the blond.
