Criminal Minds’ New spinoff ‘Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior’


The CBS’ successful drama series Criminal Minds has been returned with its new spinoff ‘Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.’ Its debut episode already aired on February 16. An American police procedural drama series, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior moves around the best agents’ team of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) that finds and arrests the most nefarious criminals of nations by using unusual investigation technique.

After the hit series Criminal Minds, CBS has given order for the next series. So following the original series Criminal Minds, “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavor” has been set and debuted at 10:00 PM on February 16, 2011. The spinoff is produced by ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios production companies. Chris Mundy and Edward Allen Bernero are creators, who also serves as executive producers along with Deborah Spera and Mark Gordon. The entire series is directed by Richard Shepard.

The story of the series is emphasized on the special agents’, Red Cells team of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, Virginia which always use strange way for their operation of finding the most dangerous criminals of the nation country and arresting them. Sam Cooper is chief of the Red Cells team.

The unit chief and a special agent since long time, Sam Cooper’s role is played by Academy Award-winner Forest Whitaker. Actually, Sam left the unit from eight years; however he came back as chief of renegade profilers’ team. Cooper always tries hard to evade political bureaucracy. The role of bold and handsome soldier of Quantico: Former British Special Forces, Mick Rawson is stared by Matt Ryan. Michael Kelly casts role of John “Prophet” Sims who is a former criminal and spent 6 years in jail. As Gina LaSalle, Beau Garrett is a smart, tough SSA who has prepared with a cunning sense of perception. Janeane Garofalo is appeared as Beth Griffith, a fresh member of FBI Threat Assessment Task Force.

Series’ other cast include Kirsten Vangsness as Penelope Garcia, Charles Henry Wyson as Connor Weller, Jerald Garner as Chicago Policeman, and Thomas Vincent Kelly as Drew Leland.

First episode of the ‘Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior’ was aired on February 16, 2011 as ‘Two of a Kind’ in which Cooper and his Red Cell team were ordered for investigating the Cleveland’s series of child kidnapping. Afterward the second episode ‘Lonely Hearts’ was aired on February 23, 2011 that followed the Red Cell team which moved in to Ohio for capturing a killer who targeted only single businessmen. The third episode titled ‘See No Evil‘ will be aired on the March 2, 2011 and ‘One Shot Kill’, a forth episode on March 9, 2011. Till now the full episode list is not released.
