NBC telecasts “The Office season”, an American television comedy drama series. NBC renewed “The Office season” for a seventh season on 5 March 2010 and it will be premiered on Thursday, 23 September 2010 at 9:00 pm. ET. The seventh season will be last season of Steve Carell as the lead character Michael Scott due to his contract expires. B. J. Novak is an actor and writer-producer. Contract of B. J. Novak has been renewed with Universal Media Studios for an eighth season.
Paul Lieberstein is an executive producer, writer, and actor. Kathy Bates will return as Jo Bennett in the season premiere. Starting with this season, Zach Woods, who portrays Gabe Lewis, was promoted to a series regular. The return of Melora Hardin as Jan Levinson, Amy Ryan as Holly Flax, and Kathy Bates as Jo Bennett will perform as the Guest appearances in the seventh season; while Timothy Olyphant will portray a new character.

According to Buddy TV users, there is no Office without Steve Carell and Michael Scott. Michael Scott plays the character of regional manager and at the end of the season; it will be publicized that who will replace Michael Scott right this instant. The first half of the season will show each of Michael’s possible heirs in a new light. Andy will seem in a Scranton community theater production of “Sweeney Todd”, Darryl going over Michael’s head on a matter to corporate, Jim and Pam getting their baby baptized, and Toby and Michael forced to attend mandatory counseling together.
Paul Lieberstein, writer, executive producer and cast member of “The Office” spilled his insider guts on the show’s seventh season to Zap2It. For Holly Flax fans, exciting news is that she will be back for eight (!) episodes of this season. After season 7, Steve Carell really leaves the season however Lieberstein sees the silver lining. Lieberstein says, “No one wants to see him go. We still hope he changes his mind. But we are forced to imagine The Office without him.”
According to THR, this season of The Office will follow this format: “The first half of the season will celebrate Carell’s final year and highlight different actors on the show, potential heirs to the throne. [...] The second half of the season will be devoted to Michael leaving and who his replacement will be.” According to Lieberstein, “Sabre CEO Jo (Kathy Bates) will make good on her promise to Michael to bring back Holly, which should have everyone cheering–except Holly.”
