The best option and the only realistic one that truly fits is Barney’s sister.
1. She would be at Barney’s Wedding
2. She goes to college

3. Chain of event. Why the series begins with Robin. Robin was there so that Barney/Robin could happen and eventually cause Barney to open up to find his dad (and thus sister). No robin = barney never connects with his dad (and thus sister) =ted doesn’t meet her.
4. Uncle Barney and Aunt Robin!!!! Why else should they be called that!

..ted meets her in a wedding which he was the best man-punchy’s wedding!
She was cindy’s (Rachel bilson)..she was at the st.pattys party but ted says they never met-coz if they did she wouldn’t like him…
The fact that that she could be zoey’s stepdaughter,Hanna makes sense though little possibility..
All I can say is buckle up guyz-this one’s a douzzy

Ok most of you ppl are not true fans of this show or else you’d realize Ted will never end up with robin he calls her aunt robin like every episode and in the episode girls vs suits he says that cubdys roomate is the mom he says it like 12 times he also accidentlt gives her umbrella nak now we are just waiting for a rainy night to blow that umbrella out of the mothers hands and toward Ted rewatch every episode from arson 3 till now and you’ll see what I mean. Season three starts on my network tv soon check your local listings

I like the theory that Rachel Bilson’s room mate is her twin and will be ted’s wife. I also like my own theory that the mother dies while giving birth to the kids and he ends up with Robin. This is why you never see her in episodes showing future marshall, lily and ted.

But I’m sure it’s not my theory and I’m fairly sure nothing is set in stone just yet. I definitely think they should end the show after series 7 or 8 before it gets stale and gets axed. So many possibilities I can’t wait to see how it plays out!! and for gods sake…boobs? barney is super awesome
