Recap of the Glee S01E05: The Rhodes Not Taken
In The Rhodes Not Taken, Will brings in his former classmate because he thinks the glee club desperately needs more of an edge. April Rhodes (guest star Kristin Chenoweth), to spice things up. When April Rhodes lends her voice to the show, a new face stirs things up for New Directions.
But ‘Will’ may be losing a key member of the club, so his plan seems to be going smoothly until he realizes. The episode begun with the upcoming Glee Invitational show, the gang practicing and they won’t be able to succeed at upcoming competitions without Rachel told by Kids to Wills. There were also, Finn is not going to tell his family about Quinn being pregnant told by Finn to Will.
Will meets a 22-year old April Rhodes who is still competing in a nearby high schools glee club while at dinner with Terri. About Quinn’s pregnancy, Will told Emma and she takes a special interest in Finn’s future and suggests he try for a music scholarship without revealing her knowledge of Quinn’s situation.
