The Fox channel president has decided to renew a third season in 2010. The Fringe season 3 will be a full season of 22 episodes. The series was created by J.J. Abrams and Alex Kurtzman. The 2nd season recommences with more eight new episodes beginning on Thursday, April 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Fringe is averaging 7.6 million viewers in its second season and is ranked No. 50 in 2009.
