The hit reality TV show “Project Runway” has started the casting for Season 9. This is the great opportunity for the fashion designers who always dreamed to show their work on the runway of “New York City Fashion Week”. The age should be at least 21 years old to apply for the show. On 4th May, 2011 one open casting call will be held in the New York City. The location has been not decided yet.

22nd Annual GLAAD (The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards held on 10th April in which “Project Runway” received the award for an Outstanding Reality TV show. The award was accepted by the producer of the show Jonathan Murray with Mondo Guerra. Mondo Guerra was the runner-up of Season 8. On the show, he famously revealed his HIV positive status to his friends and family after 10 years of silence.

Project Runway is an American reality television series which is hosted by model Heidi Klum. It is telecasted on Lifetime Television.
