On 8th March, My Life as Liz’s final episode “The End of the Beginning” aired on MTV in US. The episode featured Liz moving to New York and Bryson telling Liz about his feelings. It was episode 9 of 9 for season 1, so that episode leave a question in viewers mind. Was the episode season finale or series finale? Like most of the teenagers, she endures from a sense of alienation. She is an amusing with a good sense of humor. In the Texas town, Liz is trapped and feels conservative.
With the eyes of Liz Lee, a precocious, sometimes sarcastic, always witty teenage girl “My Life as Liz” explores high school life. By carving out a place of her own among her more “normal” peer, the series explores Liz’s attempt to make the best of her senior year, ever the outsider. Liz’s journey of self-discovery is often humorous one, though her off-kilter outlook and impeccable comedic timing. Her openness and honesty allow viewers to bear witness to the truest and most tender moments of being a teenage girl.
On 8th March Monday evening, MTV’s hottest reality show/scripted series ended with an episode called “The End of the Beginning”. In that episode, as the pressure mounts, Liz is sick and worried about the talent show. Sully takes a candid photo of Liz and create shirts with her picture on it for all the Liz supporters to wear. In the beginning of the talent show, Bryson leaves, but comes back with a guitar and performs with Liz. When winner announced, it was not Liz and not Cori and her group. At the end of the talent show, Liz thanks Bryson and then meets Bryson’s girlfriend.
Often the episodes of My Life as Liz end on a positive note and Liz managed to perform a song from Band of Horses with some help from Brysons who played the guitar in a decent way. To see the football players giving her a standing ovation that made some of the other girls very jealous, it was really interesting.
The fans are waiting for a new season or even more confused seeing that Liz looked like she was about to leave her small town for a move to New York in the last episode. So do not fear, because season 2 for ‘My Life As Liz’ is apparently on the way. The season 2 of My Life As Liz gets a big chance of being renewed.

IMDB says about My Life as Liz “it is a pseudo-mockumentary focusing on sardonic 18 year old Liz Lee and her attempts to deal with life in her Texas town” and lists the show as a “comedy”, not as a reality show.
