HBO’s Drama ‘Treme’ renewed for Season 2

American television network, HBO has renewed its David Simon-produced drama series “Treme” for Season 2 which will be started on 24th April, 2011 at 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. Treme season 2 is set with total 11 episodes which will be aired on every Sunday on television’s top channel. The story of the series is about the music scene in post-Katrina New Orleans. It is the creative idea of David Simon and Eric OverMayer who also executed the series.

Mad Men season 5 delayed but Season 6 Renewed

The three times Emmy Award-winning drama, Mad Men’s season 5 is delayed by its production time from July, 2011. The creator of series, Matthew Weiner has signed a $30 million contract with AMC. The production of a 5th and 6th season is included in the contract with the strong chances of a 7th season. The new premiere date of Mad Men season 5 is March, 2012. The reason of delaying the season 5 is contract dispute between the channel and the creator of the show.

Is Lights Out cancelled for season 2?

“Lights Out” is a new boxing drama series on FX channel. But, after one season, “Lights Out” has been cancelled by FX because of its poor ratings. FX will not be moving forward with a second season of Lights Out but the announcement is made by the cable channel that the final two episodes of “Lights Out” will be telecasted as previously scheduled; on 29th March and 5th April 2011 at 10pm.

CBC Cancelled 18 to Life for Season 3

A Canadian television sitcom, 18 to Life has been cancelled for season 3 by CBC channel. But, until now the reason of cancellation of 18 to Life Season 3 is unknown. This is confirmed through a Facebook message that was posted on Monday, 21 March 2011. Producers of the show also thanked the fans and viewers of the show for their support. They also made a note that the 25th and final episode, “House of Cards” will be telecasted on Monday, 28 March 2011.
