US Major Television network, CBS is going to renew its famous American Police Procedural drama television series, NCIS for season 9. The decision about renew of NCIS for Season 9 has been taken by CBS after a record-breaking 22.85 million viewers tuned in for its season 8 episode 13 (freedom) which released on 1st Feb, 2011. The news for the renewal of CBS’s NCIS series season 9 was announced by the CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler on Wednesday, 2nd February, 2011.
