In this season 4, Serena splits up with Nate and connects with Dan. Jenny left and moves in with her mother with no intention to come again. So, Jenny will not be seen for few episodes in the starting of this season. Vanessa will also not be seen for some episodes of season 4, but then Vanessa will come back.

Executive producer Stephanie Savage said, “Paris has always been the ultimate extension of our Gossip Girl world — the home of high fashion, Michelin star restaurants, chic night clubs, and Blair’s favorite sweet (macaroons, of course!).” He also added, “We’re thrilled to be able to share with our fans that this fall Gossip Girl is going to Paris. We hope that they’ll come along with Blair, Serena and Chuck for the first two episodes of season 4.”

Serena van der Woodsen:
Serena plays role in this show as Blake Lively. Serena van der Woodsen is part of the elite group in Manhattan and Blair Waldorf is her best friend. She has gone out with Nate Archibald and Dan Humphrey. Recently her mother has married with Chuck Bass’ father.

Blair Waldorf: Blair Waldorf plays role as Leighton Meester in this show. She is hopeless romantic who adores Audrey Hepburn. She is friend of Serena van der Woodsen. Blair gets whatever she wants by using her charm, money, and social clout. In this show, she has a turbulent relationship with Nate Archibald. She loses her virginity to his friend Chuck Bass.

Dan Humphrey: As Penn Badgley, Dan Humphrey plays role. He is the son of Rufus Humphrey and Jenny Humphrey is his younger sister. His mother ran off with a European aristocrat. When she hears of his sexual confusion, she comes back to support Dan. Dan and his family live on the liberal cultured and artistic Upper West Side. He joins the Riverside Preparatory School for Boys, where wealthy playboy Chuck Bass joints the West Side as a scholarship student. He registers to Evergreen State College in Washington at the end of the series.

Jenny Humphrey: Role of Taylor Momsen is played by Jenny Humphrey in this show. Jenny has some confusion about her place in this world. She wants to be like her school friend, Manhattan bred constance girls, but she can not seem to play the part. To be one of the ‘it’ girls, she has done everything possible in Season 1 and 2 and did good enough to be crowned queen bee of her senior year. She must prove her worth now and ensure that chaos and a coup does not happen.

Lily van der Woodsen: Lily van der Woodsen acts as Kelly Rutherford. She is mother of Serena Van Der Woodsen. In the late 80s, she was a groupie and connected with Rufus Humphry (father of Dan Humphry). Then she left him and married with father of Serena and Eric. In the series, she engages and marries Bart Bass inspite of she and Rufus agree that they are in love before the wedding.

Nate Archibald:

Nate Archibald plays role as Chace Crawford in Gossip Girl. He is closest friend of Chuck Bass. Nate has relationship with an older married woman, Duchess Catherine Mason Beaton. The relationship turns into an arrangement of sex for money when his accounts become frozen. Then his frozen accounts result in momentarily moving in with the Humphreys. After that he pursues a relationship with Vanessa then eventually breaks up and he goes on a trip to Europe for the summer.

Rufus Humphrey: Role of Matthew Settle is played by Rufus Humphrey. He is former rock star and also an owner of a fledging art gallery. He enrolled his children at private day schools for giving quality education. He got a divorce from his wife Alison because she has affair with other man. In the last episode of season 2 Lily and Rufus became engaged and married in the fifth episode of season 3.

Chuck Bass: In this show, Chuck Bass plays role as Ed Westwick. He is one of the main characters who serve as the show’s anti-hero. The television series character is noted for his financial ambition and personal style. He is the best friend of Nate Archibald. He is stepbrother of Serena van der Woodsen, and on/off again boyfriend of Blair Waldorf.

The frisky- titled “It’s a Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad World” is the May 3 episode of Gossip Girl – (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET), airing one week from tonight. “Dr. Strangeloved” airs tonight.

After that on “Gossip Girl”, Will’s return to the Upper East Side continues to stir up problems for Serena, Lily and his long-standing rival, Rufus. Serena and Jenny’s relationship is strained as a result of Jenny’s fraud.

In the last three episodes of season 3 talking about how big his character’s influence, William Baldwin told MTV, “It’s in the eye of the beholder.” He elaborated, “It’s a beautiful arc with a great sort of cliffhanger that will create a great water cooler moment for the audience. I can tell you something – it’s quite clear that there’s a lot of powerful emotions that are exchanged not only between Serena and William but between William and the whole family.”

In the May 3 episode of ‘GOSSIP GIRL’, Blair (Leighton Meester) used to stay sometimes on the campus and realizes where she truly belongs. To indicate that the character’s ego has returned a poster of Blair upfront is released with the logo “The *itch is Back”. In the meantime, He learns from that Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) has been keeping yet another secret from him.

Gossip Girl Season 3 Episode 1 (S03E01) Synopsis:

In this episode, as the summer is ending, Blair and Chuck are falling in love and make to the new relationship status. They had apparently spent the whole summer setting up situation where Chuck is seduced by a potential mistress. Serena returns from her European adventure with many secrets to hide and a complicated relationship with Carter Baizen.

Meanwhile, Nate returns with Bree Buckley, Rufus, Jenny and Dan from his travelling with a mysterious brunette. They had spent the summer holiday in the Hamptons, adjusting to the van der Woodsens’ glamorous lifestyle surprisingly faster than any of them expected.

The season 3 will come with Georgina, Vanessa, Blair and Dan. Nate hooks up with some beautiful prosperous girl name of Bree. They are all joined in NYU while Serena goes to Brown. Serena bumps into Carter and walks out almost topless. Chuck will join his family business. I think everyone is excited for season 3.

This latest Gossip Girl series was a winner at the 11th annual “Teen Choice Awards” on Sunday, August 9.  A beautiful Gossip Girl Cutie Leighton Meester won a best TV actress award. This TV series voted for as best drama.
