An action-comedy television program from the United States, Chuck has been renewed for a fourth season.  Executive producer Josh Schwartz (‘Gossip Girl,’ ‘The O.C.’) and executive producer-director McG (‘Charlie’s Angels,’ ‘We Are Marshall’) team up again to carry back action-comedy series chuck. The first three season of this series were televised on NBC entertainment channel. First episode of chuck series was premiered on 24th September, 2007, on NBC and the series is about an ‘average computer-whiz-next-door’ who receives delivery of an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working in the CIA. The message implants the only remaining copy of the world’s greatest secret agent coverts into Chuck’s brain.

Season 3 of series achieved highest rating due to 2-part premiere. Due to popularity of the show, on 14th May, 2010, the formal announcement for renewing the fourth season of show was released by President of Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios Angela Bromstad. Originally, ‘Chuck’ was a bubble series which nearly did not create it in the second to third season transition. But, the number in season 3 improved with 2.4 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 6.6 million viewers overall. Also, other stars who will be seen on the “Chuck season 4″ include Joshua Gomez (‘Without a Trace’) as Morgan Grimes—Chuck’s best buddy, Sarah Lancaster (‘What About Brian?’) as Chuck’s ever-supportive sister, Ellie, and Ryan McPartlin (‘Living With Fran’) as ‘Captain Awesome,’ Ellie’s fiance. Chuck’s Buy More team consists of Big Mike (Mark Christopher Lawrence, ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’) and the Nerd Herd, which includes Lester (Vik Sahay, ‘Time Bomb’), Jeff (Scott Krinsky, ‘The O.C.’) and Anna (Julia Ling, NBC’s ‘ER’).

New shows such as ‘The Cape’, ‘Outlaw’, ‘Harry’s Law’ and ‘Friends with Benefits’ have also been picked up by NBC. The season 4 of the chuck show will have total 13 episodes. Bromstad said, “The addition of these four inventive series to our new scripted lineup demonstrates a wide spectrum of creative stories. We are featuring popular, top-flight stars along with a strong pedigree of successful writer-producers. Likewise, ‘Chuck’ has proven its enduring appeal and we love the new creative direction that Josh and Chris [Fedak] have taken the show.”
