FX Renews Archer for Season 3 with 16 episodes

On 29th March, FX Network announced the renewal of Archer for 3rd season. The renewal of Archer Season 3 was announced by FX President, John Landgraf in the New York at the upfront party of network. Season 3 of the animated spy comedy, Archer will contain total 16 episodes from which 3 episodes are scheduled to air in September after the episodes of “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” while the remaining 13 episodes will be aired in early 2012.

FX Renews Archer for Season 3 with 16 episodes

Compared to 1st season, Archer has done better as it is up around 22%. In January of 2010, 1st season of Archer was premiered with 10 episodes. 1st season average rating is 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic and about 0.97 million viewers. Fox announced casting call for Kitchen Nightmares season 5

An American reality television series, Kitchen Nightmares on the Fox network announced casting call for their upcoming season 5 for restaurants that are in difficulties and require help to make their establishment a success. In this show, British celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay spends a week with a flagging restaurant in an effort to stimulate the business. Is Lights Out cancelled for season 2?

“Lights Out” is a new boxing drama series on FX channel. But, after one season, “Lights Out” has been cancelled by FX because of its poor ratings. FX will not be moving forward with a second season of Lights Out but the announcement is made by the cable channel that the final two episodes of “Lights Out” will be telecasted as previously scheduled; on 29th March and 5th April 2011 at 10pm.

TV Land renews ‘Retired at 35′ for season 2

Recently on March 21, 2011,  the TV Land has announced to renew its hit sitcom comedy series ‘Retired At 35′ for season 2 in addition to the starting of other two new sitcoms, Fran Drescher’s ‘Happily Divorced’ as well as ‘The Exes.’ They also expanded the order of season 3 of successful series ‘Hot in Cleveland’ from 22 to 24 episodes. These all improvements will bring the TV Land from 0 to 4 scripted sitcoms within a shorter duration.
